Covers Run to Learn for iOS, version 1.0. Last updated 26 July 2026.

The short version

Run to Learn keeps your scores on your phone and sends us nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting. The only data that leaves your device goes to the ad network, and every ad request is marked non-personalized.

What stays on your device

The game writes a small settings file in its own storage and reads nobody else's:

None of it reaches a server. Deleting the app deletes all of it, and version 1.0 has no cloud backup, so a deleted score is gone.

Ads

Ads come from Google AdMob. Every request the game makes carries the non-personalized flag, so Google chooses ads from context rather than from a profile of your behaviour. To do that and to bill for it, Google's SDK may collect device identifiers, the fact that an ad was shown or tapped, and diagnostic data about itself. It uses those to deliver ads, to cap how often you see the same one, and to catch fraud.

The game shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you across other apps or websites and does not ask to. Google explains its own handling in the Google Privacy & Terms.

Purchases

Apple handles the Remove Ads purchase end to end. The game learns only that a valid receipt exists. Your name, card and address never reach it or us.

Children

Run to Learn is built for anyone practising mental arithmetic, and plenty of its players will be children. So ad requests are tagged as child-directed, ad content is capped at the G rating, and behavioural targeting is off for everyone rather than for some. If an ad turns up that should not have, the Settings sheet inside the game has a Report an ad row that opens a message to us with the app version already filled in.

What the game never does

Changes

Any change to what the game collects gets written here, with the date at the top updated. If a change is significant, the app will say so before it takes effect.
